
Meet our Board of Directors
Roxaco is the property development arm of Roxas and Company. A wholly-owned subsidiary of Roxas and Company, Inc., it was incorporated on April 26, 1988 by the principals of Roxas & Company, Inc., led by its chairman of the board, for the purpose of acquiring real estate for investment, development and/or sale. The Corporation is the registered owner of several hundred hectares of land in Nasugbu, Batangas. The land bank will be developed over the years based on an integrated masterplan.

Pedro E. Roxas
Chairman of the Board
PEDRO E. ROXAS has been a Director of Roxaco since 1995. He is now the company’s Executive Chairman of the board. He is also the Chairman of: Roxas Holdings, Inc, and other subsidiaries of RHI; Hawaiian-Philippine Company; Club Punta Fuego; and Roxaco Land Corporation. He is the President of the Philippine Sugar Millers Association, Inc.; Fundacion Santiago; and Roxas Foundation. He is a Trustee of the Philippine Business for Social Progress. He is a part of the Board of Directors of Brightnote Assets Corporation; PLDT; Meralco; and BDO Private Bank. Mr. Roxas was educated at Portsmouth Abbey School, USA and at the University of Notre Dame, USA where he obtained his degree in Business Administration.

Fernando L. Gaspar

FERNANDO L. GASPAR is the newly-elected President and Chief Executive Officer of Roxas and Co., Inc., and of Roxas Sigma Agriventures, Inc. He is a Board Member of the Roxaco Land Group of Companies. He was the Senior Vice President and Chief Administration Officer for International Container Terminal Systems, Inc. (ICTSI) from 2008 to 2016. From 2001 to 2008, he was the Managing Director of Alvarez & Marzal, Inc. From 1997 to 2001, he was the Philippines’ Country Manager for the KUOK Group, and the President of Shangri-La Hotels Philippines. He had previously spent 23 years in various strategic positions with the San Miguel Group of Companies, having started his career in 1973 with the stock brokerage firm Campos, Lanuza & Company. His education comprises of an undergraduate course in Chemical Engineering at the De La Salle University, Manila Philippines, and post-graduate courses at the INSEAD Asian Studies Centre, Fontainebleau, France; at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business; and at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Francisco Jose R. Elizalde

FRANCISCO JOSE R. ELIZALDE, a member of the Audit and Risk Committee, was elected to the Board of Directors in 2009. He is also the Managing Director of the ELRO Corporation, and the Vice President of its Consumer Goods Business Unit. He is part of the Board of Directors of: SPCI Holdings, Inc.; ELRO Trading Corporation; ELRO Land, Inc.; Bais Multi Farms, Inc.; Twenty Four Hours Vendo Machine Corporation; Roxaco Land Corporation; Club Punta Fuego, Inc.; and Mutual Fund Management Company of the Philippines, Inc. He was educated at Portsmouth Abbey School, USA, and at the University of Vermont, from where he obtained an undergraduate degree.

Armando B. Escobar

ARMANDO B. ESCOBAR is the Executive Vice President and Chief Finance Officer of the company. He was formerly the Chief Finance Officer of Roxas Holdings, Inc., the group President and Chief Operating Officer of the Moldex Group of Companies and Vitarich Corporation. He was formerly the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating & Special Accounts Management Group Head of the Philippine Bank of Communications. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Ateneo de Manila University, 1981. He was in the Executive Business Program of Harvard Business School, and in the Strategic Business Economics Program of the University of Asia and the Pacific.

SANTIAGO R. ELIZALDE is the Chairman of the 24 Hour Vendo Machine Co., the Vice Chairman and a member of the Executive Committees of ELRO Commercial & Industrial Corporation and Club Punta Fuego, Inc. He is also the President & CEO of Roxaco Land Corporation, the President of CGB Condominium Corporation, and the President of Fuego Hotels and Management Corporation. He is the Chairman of Roxas Foundation, Inc., and a Director of CADPI, CACI, ELRO Land Corporation; Punta Fuego Village Homeowners Association; Punta Fuego Village Foundation; Terrazas de Punta Fuego Village Homeowners Association; and Fundacion Santiago.
